Binance to Support Upcoming Cosmos (ATOM) Network Upgrade
Binance has officially announced its support for the upcoming Cosmos (ATOM) network upgrade. According to Binance, the upgrade is scheduled to begin on October 2, 2024, at approximately 14:00 (UTC).
Temporary Suspension of Services
To facilitate the network upgrade, Binance will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals of tokens on the Cosmos (ATOM) network starting at the aforementioned time. The process is expected to take place at the block height of 22,443,500, or around 15:00 (UTC) on the same day.
Impact on Trading
Binance has assured its users that the trading of tokens on the Cosmos (ATOM) network will not be impacted during the upgrade. The exchange will handle all technical requirements involved in the process to ensure a seamless experience for its users.
Resumption of Services
Once the upgraded network is deemed stable, Binance will reopen deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the Cosmos (ATOM) network. No further announcement will be made regarding the reopening of these services.
