James Fickel Reduces ETH/BTC Long Position Amid Significant Losses

According to EmberCN, prominent ETH/BTC bull James Fickel has continued to reduce his long position in the ETH/BTC pair over the past 30 hours. He sold 10,000 ETH worth $33.57 million to repay 348.3 WBTC. This position, previously the largest on-chain ETH/BTC long, is now almost fully unwound, with only 227 WBTC ($21.76 million) remaining. Fickel's estimated losses from this trade are nearing $70 million (20,665 ETH). Initially, he borrowed 2,987 WBTC at a rate of $0.054 through Aave to buy 55,315 ETH. Since August, he has been selling ETH to buy back WBTC, spending 69,518 ETH at a rate of $0.0397 to repay 2,760 WBTC. He still needs to sell 6,461 ETH at the current rate of $0.035 to repay the remaining debt. (Source)
