CI Global Asset Management Updates Responsible Investing Policy

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--$CIX #CIFinancial--CI Global Asset Management (“CI GAM”) announces that it has updated its Responsible Investing Policy (“Policy”) in accordance with guidance from staff of the Ontario Securities Commission on ESG-related investment fund disclosure. The update clarifies that the Policy covers all in-house actively managed strategies, except for asset classes or investment strategies which do not reasonably lend themselves to environmental, social and governance factor consideration, such as money market funds, passive index funds, cryptocurrency funds, commodity-based funds, covered call funds and fund-of-funds strategies where the portfolio manager does not have a comprehensive view of the underlying securities.
