Together AI has announced a substantial expansion into the European market through a strategic partnership with Hypertec and 5C Group, aimed at bolstering AI infrastructure across the continent. This initiative will involve the deployment of nearly 100,000 GPUs, marking a significant step in meeting the growing demand for sovereign AI infrastructure in Europe.

Infrastructure and Regional Development

The partnership with Hypertec, a leader in sustainable AI infrastructure, and 5C Group, known for building next-generation AI data centers, will result in a large-scale deployment across Europe. This deployment is set to begin in late 2025 and continue through 2028, focusing on countries like France, the UK, Italy, and Portugal. The project will see investments exceeding $5 billion, providing up to 2 gigawatts of AI-dedicated data center capacity.

James Barker has been appointed as VP of EMEA to oversee the expansion, bringing significant experience in scaling technology platforms. This move follows Together AI's acquisition of CodeSandbox, enhancing its engineering and research capabilities in Amsterdam.
