NYSE Launches Shares of Pro Crypto Silvergate Bank for Trading
American Commercial bank Silvergate Capital, a bank focused on digital currencies, is now officially established on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), with an opening of $12.75. Parallel to the event was the celebration of its initial public offering (IPO), as per NYSE.
This information was followed by Silvergate Capital’s announcement of the pricing of its IPO with 3 million shares of its Class A common stock at the public offering of $12.00/share. Moreover, subjective to customary closing conditions, the offering is expected to close on Nov. 12th. To add to this announcement, the firm also mentioned that a registration statement was in accordance with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), who also declared the statement valid. With regard to the filing with the SEC, Silvergate reported an increase in the number of digital currency customers; these customers included crypto-related clients such as exchanges, miners, and custodians.
