According to a recent report by CoinShares, digital asset investment products have seen significant inflows in the first half of 2025, with a total of $17.8 billion. This surge is attributed to geopolitical tensions and shifts in monetary policy.

Consistent Inflows in 2025

The report highlights that digital asset funds attracted $2.7 billion in inflows last week alone, marking the 11th consecutive week of net positive inflows. This trend mirrors the previous year's performance, where inflows by the end of June reached $18.3 billion.

Regional Analysis of Fund Flows

The United States emerged as the dominant player in the regional inflows, contributing $2.65 billion. In contrast, Hong Kong faced persistent outflows, amounting to $132 million in June. Other regions such as Switzerland and Germany recorded minor inflows of $23 million and $19.8 million, respectively, while Canada and Brazil experienced slight outflows.

Bitcoin and Ethereum Lead the Market

Bitcoin (BTC) continued to be the frontrunner, garnering 83% of the total inflows, equating to $2.2 billion. Meanwhile, short Bitcoin investment products experienced outflows of $2.9 million, indicating a positive market sentiment towards Bitcoin. Ethereum (ETH) also saw significant interest with $429 million in inflows last week, bringing the year-to-date total to $2.9 billion. Solana, however, has had more modest inflows of $91 million YTD.
