Bitfinex Enhances User Experience with Latest Platform Update
Bitfinex has announced the release of Change Log Version 1.114, marking a series of updates aimed at enhancing the functionality and user experience of its trading platform. These updates, revealed on April 23, 2025, encompass a range of new features, improvements, and bug fixes, according to blog.bitfinex.com.
New Features Introduced
The latest update includes the addition of a drag-and-drop option for reordering wire withdrawal recipients, enhancing user control over withdrawal processes. Platform emails have also been revised to incorporate a security code, aiming to bolster user security. Furthermore, the Movements section has been updated to list the Optimism transport layer under USDT0, broadening the platform's capabilities.
Platform Improvements
Bitfinex has made several notable improvements to its platform. The wallet's balance table now features updated default sorting, and separate sorting has been introduced for recent deposits and withdrawals. The update ensures that selected Tether tokens are retained when navigating from wallets to the withdrawal dialogue. Moreover, the minimum withdrawal amount has been made dynamic, taking fees into consideration, thus providing users with more flexibility.
Additional improvements include enhancements to the Securities info page, which now features a video section, and an updated Capital Raise offering section. The homepage news carousel has been improved to align with the browser language, and EOS has been removed from the Staking page. Changes have also been made to the Funding Cost tooltip text in the derivatives Positions header. Furthermore, some Tours and Guides links have been updated to redirect users directly to the selected tour, and a message is now displayed when wire withdrawals are disabled due to insufficient verification levels.
Addressing Bug Fixes
In response to user feedback, Bitfinex has addressed several bugs in this release. The Trade Desk template now renders correctly after creation, and the issue with the Update Order price showing NaN when a dot is entered has been resolved. Additionally, the Wallet Composition column no longer displays some percentages as NaN, and the Latest Rates column sorting in the Balances list functions correctly.
Other fixes include stabilizing the Deposit cryptocurrencies list dropdown and resolving an error related to the HappyCoins minimum deposit amount.
The derivatives platform, operated by Bitfinex Derivatives El Salvador S.A. de C.V., is also part of these updates. Users can explore the comprehensive features offered by Bitfinex through its APIs, as detailed in their API documentation.
